7 months old!

Again, where does the time go? On Saturday, Ryan was 7 months old. He is an amazing little guy. This week, he started to roll from his side to his back. He figured out that if he moves his arms, they will guide him to roll over. This is a big step for him.

His first cold....This weekend Ryan got his first sniffle. He sneezed like crazy all day Saturday and Sunday. He did not sleep a wink on Saturday unless he was being held. Needless to say,Tim and I didnt get much sleep that night. This was the first night since mid-April that he has not slept through the night. We have been so blessed. (He sleeps from about 9pm to 7am! Every night!)(Ryan, now that I am bragging on you...dont change your routine!) Anyway...we started the humidifier, used saline drops and put his bouncy chair in his crib and he was able to sleep upright. I felt so bad for him. He struggled with his breathing for 4 days. He had a fever and constipation to go along with it. But Sunday night, he slept most of the night and on Monday was back on schedule. Today he is much better.

He smiles most of the day. His favorite place is his changing table. You can tell if he has a dirty diaper because he flashes us the biggest grin and laugh. He will lay there and just smile all day long. I dont know what it is about the changing table, but he loves it!
Tuesday was Nursery Follow Up. He had a neuro exam (physical therapy) and a physical. He passed with flying colors....Now weighing in at 17lbs, 26 inches long and average head circumference. He is getting huge. He doesnt have to go back until November. We stopped by the NICU, hoping to see Michelle, but she wasnt working. We did see Pat and she couldnt get over how big he was. We read in Michelle's blog that she and her husband finally received word that they are adopting a little boy from China. She and her husband travel to pick him up in August. Congrats Michelle. We are so happy for you.

Amazing! Ryan is so awesome! It's so great to see and read about his developments. I'm also so glad he's been able to fight that cold!
