Unplugged!

Yes, Ryan is now unplugged!!!
Finally, the first day in his life, he is not hooked up to any monitors. The dogs like it too. No more loud beeps when the monitor goes off.
We had a nursery follow up visit today and the provider decided that since he has done so well that he really did not need the monitor anymore. He was really pleased with his progress. Since he has been home, he has gained an average of 1.5 ounces a day. He now weighs 8lbs 14 oz.
We had to change his diaper size too. Ryan moved from the newborn to a size 1.
The photo above is a 4 generation photo. Ryan, Dad, Grandpa and Great-Grandpa. What a spectacular moment. All look so proud.
Yesterday was Opening Day. Tim and Ryan attempted to watch the First Baseball game of the season. I think they watched the Opening Ceremonies and the first 2 innings before the game was postponed due to rain. There will be plenty of games to watch later in the season.

Ryan,
I knew you would be watching opening day in style. There will be many more opening days to watch with dad and mom. The men in your family look pretty proud of you, and who wouldn't be, just look at what you have succeded in doing your few short monhts you have been with us. It looks like you have someone new to look after you. Sebastian and Bailey will protect you from anything. They are great companions. I am so glad that you are off the moniters, and I can walk around and carry you and not step on the cord and unplug you. I will see you in a few days. Good night, sweet dreams, sleep tight, God bless you, I love you more today. Mor Mor Jo.

Ryan,Papa and I just wanted to let you know how handsome you look sitting with Dad and just hanging out and watching the game. I wanted to tell you also that April 1st was your Great Grandpa Orr's birthday and he would have been 93. I am sure he along with Great Grandma Orr and Great Grandma Brooks are smiling and sending kisses and blessings upon you from heaven above. We will see you in a couple of weeks. Love you lots.
