I have a new bed

This morning, Michelle and Christy, changed out his bed and Ryan is now in a crib! We are so excited and this is a huge step which means is getting closer to coming home. He is still on oxygen, but such a small amount. They are weaning him off more and more each day. He still has the infection, but he is getting better. They plan on retesting him on Thursday/Friday to see if he still tests positive for C.diff.
Even with this infection, he is still gaining weight, now at 5lbs 3oz.
This afternoon, my girlfriends threw us a baby shower. We received some great gifts and some really cool toys. We thank all our friends for everything.

Here is a picture of Ryan in his baseball attire. Tim is so looking forward to spending the summer watching baseball with Ryan

Glad to hear the Ryan continues to gain weight!! What a sweet, sweet little boy with such fantastic parents. I really enjoyed hearing how he falls asleep when you feed him. What a special mommy bond!! Brings back memories of Jack when he would doze off while nursing! I'm sure he'll pull through this infection in no time. xxoo from the O'Tooles

Ryan,
Your new crib looks great, I am so happy to see you in a crib, you are a big boy now. Your baseball outfit is perfect for you and dad to start watching the games together. I am glad to hear you are taking all your bottles and getting bigger and stronger. See you soon. I love you more today, Mor Mor Jo.

Dear Tim and Renee,
Thank you for being so open and honest about your new life with precious baby Ryan. The pictures are just amazing and he is such a loved baby boy! Mary Gene has been keeping us posted on Ryan's progress and encouraged us to check out your website. I am so glad I did so that I can have an image of baby Ryan for my heart and prayers. God bless all 3 of you. Parenthood is the greatest blessing and Ryan is already a blessing to all of us!
